YOWELL RETIRES

                    In September of 1979 Joe Yowell joined the Reydon Volunteer Fire Department. On October 31, 2005 he hangs up his helmet and bunker gear. Joe has served 26 years for this department has been awakened many times in the middle of the night and has answered calls on holidays and during work hours.

                At the November Reydon Fire Department meeting Joe was given a small retirement party. Members enjoyed a cake donning the Reydon Fire Department Logo, which was made by Kim Payne. Joe was presented with a plaque and his helmet signed by members of the fire department.

                The Reydon community again gives its thanks for his devoted service.
