Couple Enjoys Trip to Cheyenne
Dr. Jumelle and his wife, Naomi, won a trip to Cheyenne on Valentine’s Day given away by the Talihina, OK Chamber of Commerce. They arrived in Cheyenne Friday September 29th and stayed till Sunday October 1st. Dewayne and Juhretta Roark showed the Jumelles their fascinating collection of cars from the 1800’s to the 1950’s. Saturday they toured the Washita Battle Site with the Chief of Interpretation and Operations, Dave Schafer. Then they went through the Museum Complex in the City Park. They finished a busy day of site seeing and learning about Roger Mills County by visiting the Metcalfe Museum. The Jumelle’s enjoyed their visit to Cheyenne. They loved the fact that they could walk around town and didn’t have to take their car everywhere. They said everyone was courteous and friendly. We hope they will decide to visit again.
A Special Thank You goes to everyone who made the Jumelle’s visit inviting and memorable. Thank You.
