Parker Petroleum Company may deepen its No. 1 Savage in C Se SW of 10-13n-21w, two miles south of the Hammon townsite and 13 ½ miles east of Cheyenne, in Roger Mills County, to 16,000 feet or the Springer.
The wildcat is currently waiting on orders after running electric log at 12,338 feet; it recovered 50 feet of dolomitic shale in a core of 12,286 feet to bottom.
There will be a turkey toss at Reydon on Saturday, December 22nd. Fifty or more turkeys will be given away during the day. The turkey toss starts in the morning and continues into the afternoon. Santa Claus will be visiting during the day. The Reydon businessmen are giving away the turkeys and furnishing the treats for Santa as a Christmas greeting, and an expression of appreciation for the business they have enjoyed during the past year.

June Stamper, Margaret Smith, Colleen Hensley, Joyce Conner and Betty Hendershot all went home with Mrs. Hubbard Tuesday night so they could attend the ballgame at Crawford between Crawford and Liberty Center grade teams.
Art Scott and Mrs. Albert Maddux were the high score players in the canasta marathon recently completed. The marathon was played for the benefit of the Cheyenne School Band.
