90th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

80th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

REYDON SENIOR CITIZEN DINNER

Everyone is invited to the Reydon Senior Citizen Dinner on FRIDAY, MARCH 23 they will be serving Roast, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Carrots, Green Beans, Hot Rolls and Dessert from 4:30-6:30 PM. 55 & over $3.00; 55 & under $5.00; Children $3.00. Everyone welcome.

CRAWFORD ALUMNI SUPPER

The Crawford Alumni Supper will be held on Saturday April 21, 2007 at the Crawford Gymnasium. The door will open about 4 o’clock. Supper at 6:30 p.m. For more information or reservations call Avis Cobb at 580-983-2265.

   

ATTENTION CHS CLASSMATES

All students who attended or graduated in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s are invited to gather at the Cheyenne Baptist Fellowship Hall to renew acquaintances on Saturday afternoon, April 21 between 2-4:00 PM. Refreshments available, hosted by Barbara Bradshaw Murdock and Dale Tracy. We’ll see you there!

 

CHEYENNE EASTER EGG HUNG

The Cheyenne Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 7th, 1:00 PM at the Cheyenne City Park. Over 1,000 eggs will be hidden for hunters! There will also be a drawing for an Adult Easter Basket. This annual event is sponsored by the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.

DONALD KNIGHT at DEMPSEY SOCIAL

Donald Knight, Elk City, will be the featured entertainment at the Dempsey Social Saturday, April 7th. Families may bring a dessert or favorite salad. The festivities will begin at 7:00 PM

HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE

LENTEN LUNCH at METHODIST CHURCH

The Cheyenne United Methodist Church will be hosting Lenten Lunches each Wednesday at Noon. They will serve a simple meal followed with a devotional. Everyone welcome!

VETERANS INVITED to RIDE on FLOAT

Roger Mills County Veterans of WW II have been invited to ride on the Wall of Heroes Float during the Old Settlers Parade on Saturday, April 21st. Call Nancy Wessels at 497-3344 for registration information.

Everyone is invited to the Reydon United Methodist Church each Wednesday from 3-5 PM for coffee and bingo.

FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTION

The next Food Distribution by the Circle of Care will be on April 20, 2007, 12-2 PM at 406 Broadway, Cheyenne. Please bring your boxes if you still have them. If you have not picked up your food, please come by soon. If you miss three pick-ups, your name will be taken off the list.

Molly Griffis’s book ‘Paradise on the Prairie’ has been designated as the Centennial book for this year. The book is hard to obtain as so many copies have been sold. Oweita Calvert has 15 copies of the paperback, call her at 497-3922 or email oweitachey@dobsonteleco.com

The Senior Bowling League results were: Female Star: Julie Skelton 74 pins over average. Male Star: Glenn Green 98 pins over average. GOLF CLUB NEWS

The team of Larry Burns, Brandon Plemons and James Maddux were the winners of last Sunday’s Golf Scramble. James Maddux was the winner on closest to the pin on Hole #3. See you Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Cheyenne Golf Course.
