CALVERT – BUTLER WEDDING SHOWER

SADLER REUNION

The Sadler Reunion will be held at the Cheyenne Senior Citizens Center at noon on April 21st. Come earlier if you want! They will be getting together on Friday evening starting at 5:00 p.m. to play cards, dominoes, Wahoo, and have snacks. Look forward to seeing you there!

90th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

ATTENTION CHS CLASSMATES

All students who attended or graduated in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s are invited to gather at the Cheyenne Baptist Fellowship Hall to renew acquaintances on Saturday afternoon, April 21 between 2-4:00 PM. CRAWFORD ALUMNI SUPPER

The Crawford Alumni Supper will be held on Saturday April 21, 2007 at the Crawford Gymnasium. The door will open about 4 o’clock. Supper at 6:30 p.m. For more information or reservations call Avis Cobb at 580-983-2265.

   

CHUCK MILNER FAMILY at DEMPSEY

 

Chuck Milner and his children, Hallie and Cody, will be the featured entertainment at the next Dempsey Social on Saturday August 5, 2006. A “Potluck” meal is planned. Families may bring their favorite dish or dessert. Activities begin at 7:00 p.m. Hope to see you there.

CHEYENNE EASTER EGG HUNT

The Cheyenne Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 7th, 1:00 PM at the Cheyenne City Park. Over 1,000 eggs will be hidden for hunters! There will also be a drawing for an Adult Easter Basket. This annual event is sponsored by the Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce.

REYDON EASTER EGG HUNT

DONALD KNIGHT at DEMPSEY SOCIAL

Donald Knight, Elk City, will be the featured entertainment at the Dempsey Social Saturday, April 7th. Families may bring a dessert or favorite salad. The festivities will begin at 7:00 PM

 

STORIES & SUCH at LIBRARY

Stories and Such will be held at the Minnie R. Slief Library in Cheyenne on Wednesday, April 11 at 4:00 PM. Stories and crafts for kids age 3-8. For more info call Cindy at 497-3777.

RMC GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY MEETING

The Roger Mills County Genealogical Society will meet Thursday, April 5 at 2 p.m. in the Library in Cheyenne. Judy Tracy will present a program featuring the Old Settlers Review. Everyone is welcome to attend. For more information contact, Julie at 497-3555.

 
 

STUDENT COUCIL CLEAN-UP PROJECT

The Cheyenne Student Council have planned a clean-up day on Thursday, April 5, as a community service project. If you have a need of see a need please call 497-3371, ext 114 and leave a message. The work will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Their goal is to clean Cheyenne and help those in need.

RMC ASSESSOR’S NOTICE

If you have not assessed your personal property, a 10% late penalty will be applied to your assessments from now until April 15th. A 10% penalty will be added from April 15th to April 30th. If you fail to assess your personal property after April 30th, your homestead exemption will be removed. SWEETWATER TOWN MEETING NOTICE

The Town of Sweetwater will hold its regular quarterly meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Elections will be held for one (1) Councilmen and one (1) City Clerk. The meeting will be held at the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church in Sweetwater at 6:00 PM.

 

 

 

CHEYENNE LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL

VETERANS INVITED to RIDE on FLOAT

LENTEN LUNCH at METHODIST CHURCH

The Cheyenne United Methodist Church will be hosting Lenten Lunches each Wednesday at Noon. They will serve a simple meal followed with a devotional. Everyone welcome!

The Cheyenne United Methodist Church invites everyone to the Palm Sunday – Communion Service on Sunday, April 1 at 11:00 AM. A fellowship dinner immediately following.

 

REYDON TOWN MEETINGS

The Reydon Board of Directors, Rural Water Sewer & Solid Waste Management District #3 will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 4:00 PM in the Senior Citizens Building. The Board of Trustees, Town of Reydon, will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room at Town Hall. Both meetings are open to the public.

 

 

REYDON TOWN ELECTION

In compliance with Oklahoma Law (11 O.S., Sections 16-301 – 16-315) the Town of Reydon, Oklahoma will conduct a Town Hall Meeting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, for the purpose of electing officers and conducting other matters of the town. Additional notices of the meeting will include an agenda and will be posted in accordance with state law, at the following locations: Reydon Post Office, Reydon Short Stop, Reydon School, Reydon City Office, Reydon Senior Citizens Center. Only Reydon residents, registered as voters with the Roger Mills County Election Board, will be allowed to vote during election.

 

 

 

 

 

REYDON UMC COFFEE & BINGO

Everyone is invited to the Reydon United Methodist Church each Wednesday from 3-5 PM for coffee and bingo.

FOOD BANK DISTRIBUTION

The next Food Distribution by the Circle of Care will be on April 20, 2007, 12-2 PM at 406 Broadway, Cheyenne. Please bring your boxes if you still have them. If you have not picked up your food, please come by soon. If you miss three pick-ups, your name will be taken off the list.

 

OLD TYME RADIO HOUR

The Old Tyme Radio House will be held Thursday, April 19 at 7:00 PM in the Cheyenne School Auditorium. Come be a part of your history! The program is a celebration of our Centennial in song and dance. The cast is from all corners of our beloved Roger Mills County.

 

 

VFW POST 9126 MEETING

Post 9126 will have their monthly meeting on Wednesday August 9, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the low income housing authority office. All veterans are welcome. There will be coffee and snacks served.
