12th Annual Cowboy Entertainment & Chuck Wagon Supper

 

The folks in the Durham Community would like to invite everyone to an evening of cowboy grub and music on Saturday, May 5th, 2007 – 6:30pm at the Longhorn Field house – 2 miles north of Highway Junction 30 & 33.  Cost for the evening including dinner and entertainment is adults $12.00 and children under 10 $5.00

 

A Chuck Wagon supper of brisket with all the trimmings will be served followed by music and fun.  This year’s entertainment will be provided by Ed Montana.

 

Ed Montana hails from Amarillo, Texas; raised in a musical family he began playing guitar and banjo at the early age of seven, by age ten he was recording and touring with his father’s polka band throughout the Midwest.  Ed has traveled throughout the United States performing at P.R.C.A (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) rodeos, state fairs and various Western Festivals.  Ed Montana has previously entertained for the N.F.R. (National Finals Rodeo) for 6 consecutive years at Oklahoma City and Las Vegas.  He grew up on his family’s working ranch in southwest Utah.  Ed’s first love is music and his career to date had been quite impressive.  Ed Montana has opened shows, rodeo’s and fairs for the likes of Mo Bandy, Lee Greenwood, Red Stegall, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hoyt Axton and Tom T. Hall to name a few.  Some of Ed’s favorites have been working with such legendary western singers as Roy Rogers, Rex Allen Sr., Johnny Western, Eddie Dean and Hank Thompson.  Since 1989, Ed has been touring the European Countries of Germany, Austria & Switzerland.
