POOL OPENING MAY 28TH

        The Cheyenne City Pool will open Monday, May 28, 2007 under the management of Nanette Gallegos. Although Nanette previously stated she would not be bidding on the pool when she seen that it would not be opening this summer she decided to take on the summer project that so many of our local youth enjoy.

        The pool will be open Monday through Saturday from Noon-5:00 PM. The price of admission is $3.00, which includes 2 free hot dogs during the pool break. Season passes will not be sold this year. The pool will be open through July 31^st. Friday night swims will begin on June 8 from 7-10:00 P.M.

        Lifeguards will be Shawn L. Baca-Gallegos, Rick Anderson, Aaron Ford, Liz Terry, Charolet Miller and Miranda Moorman. Concession staff will include Chelsea Hay, Meaghan Burns, Katie Terry and Vici Terry.

        “I am already enjoying getting the pool ready and look forward to seeing everyone,” stated Nanette.    

        We hope everyone has a fun and safe swim season. Remember to wear sunscreen or wear a t-shirt if you burn easily.
