RMC Genealogy Society has Books for Sale

            The Roger Mills County Genealogy Society has two special books for sale at Pioneer Museum in the City Park. The out of print book published by Klina Casady in 1976 entitled, "Once Every Five Years" has been re-printed and an index added so that you can find the information quite easily. It is $18 (plus $4 postage). Mrs. Casady's book ended with the Old Settlers' event of 1972. Quite a bit of history has happened in our county since 1972 so five members of the society published a sequel entitled, "The Next Thirty Years." It is on sale at the Pioneer Museum for $20 ($4 postage). The Pioneer Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00-4:00 pm. Orders for the books may be sent to RMC Genealogy Society, Box 205, Cheyenne, OK 73628. The funds generated will be used to add microfilms, books, and other items for genealogy research to our local library.
