CONGRESSMAN LUCAS SCHEDULES TOWN HALL MEETINGS IN 16 COUNTIES
Washington U.S. Third District Congressman Frank Lucas will hold town meeting in 16 counties in northwest Oklahoma over eight days as part of his annual round of town hall meetings each year.
These annual town hall meeting are free and open to the public. Congressman Lucas is encouraging residents of these counties to attend the town hall in their area. Lucas will give an update of his work for the Third Congressional District to give his constituents an opportunity to meet with the congressman.
This is an important part of my efforts to represent the Third District in Washington, Lucas said. I get input from my constituents in many ways from letters and phone calls, to conversations on the street. But these town meetings are a way for folks to look their congressman in the eye and converse with him about the issues of the day.
The Third Congressional District includes 32 counties in Oklahoma, stretching from the Oklahoma panhandle to the outskirts of Tulsa, and from Yukon to Altus in the southwest. The congressional district takes up roughly half the states land mass.
Frank Lucas is serving his sixth full term as a Member of Congress, representing Oklahomas Third Congressional District.
