Air Evac Lifeteam Receives Top Honors
The Air Evac Lifeteam Base in Elk City, commonly known as AE 21, received the coveted "Base of the Year" award in Ft. Worth, Texas last weekend. There were numerous bases in the running, however AE 21 took home the honors. Membership Coordinator Jill Burks, Lead Flight Nurse Tricia Gonzales and Lead Flight Paramedic Rodney Baker were present to receive the award.
Air Evac member Sue Thompson states, "Air Evac hires the best pilots, nurses, and paramedics this country has to offer, and it is nice to know that if my family ever needs them, the best of the best is right here in Western Oklahoma."
Membership Coordinator Jill Burks was also presented with the "Membership Employee of the Year" award. "Wonderful people reside in Western Oklahoma which makes my job extremely pleasant. When it comes down to it, it is about patient care and customer service," states Burks.
